Frequently Asked Questions

Question: Are your buildings pet friendly?

Depending on the complex, many of the complexes do allow indoor only cats. Some of the buildings will allow smaller dogs.

We do reserve the right to limit the type and number of pets per unit. Please check with us as each complex has different rules.

We also require a pet security deposit of up to one half of the rent. JBP does offer super fast pet refund returns of pet damage deposits so you can receive your money back quickly once you have completed your condition inspection meeting.

Question: Do you require a lease?

Generally speaking we require a one year lease. However, you may inquire about shorterterm leases with us.

Question: Is there parking available at the buildings?

All of the buildings do have at least one designated parking stall per unit. Arrangements can be made if a second spot is required at a nominal cost.

Question: How much is the damage deposit?

By law we are only allowed to request up to one half of a months rent. This is generally due at signing of the rental agreement.

Question: Do you allow smoking in the buildings?

No, all buildings are non-smoking including in the unit.

Question: Do your suites have in suite laundry?

Yes, Over 97% of our units have in suite laundry.

Question: Do your suites include utilities?

No, utilities are the responsibility of the tenant

Question: Do you require tenants to carry insurance?

We strongly suggest you carry tenants insurance to cover your personal belongings and also to protect you in the event your neglect causes significant damage to the suite.

It is very inexpensive and VERY worthwhile.
